How to Create Temporary Backyard Privacy

Fences and planted trees and shrubs can provide permanent privacy protection. Use other methods to provide temporary backyard privacy, such as when you have a backyard gathering or function. These temporary features are easy to adjust to provide the amount of privacy you wish.

Instructions

1. Place a row of potted trees in the backyard. Mix the potted trees with potted plants that are tall enough to block neighbors' views into the backyard.

2. Position an outdoor privacy screen in a strategic position. Place multiple screens around a specific area you want private, such as a patio.

3. Rent temporary fencing and position it around the entire backyard or any specific areas. Temporary fencing is available in a variety of materials, including vinyl, wood and metal.

4. Place a tent-style, temporary gazebo in the backyard.
