How to Make a Vintage Style Bridal Headband
The term "vintage" can mean different styles to different people. Vintage represents anything from past eras. A vintage-style bridal headband matches the vintage style of the bride's dress. A vintage-style headband decorated with jewels and a small veil is an appropriate representation for the eras between the 1920s through the 1950s. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 1-inch-wide plastic headband
- 1-inch-wide white ribbon
- Hot glue gun
- Netting
- 6mm pearls
- 6 1/2-inch-long oval rhinestones
- 5mm pearls
- 6mm pearls
- Rhinestones
- Double row metal mesh diamond wrap

Cut a piece of netting 4-inches-long by 3-inches-wide. Glue one of the 3-inch-wide edges to a 1-inch-wide plastic headband. One edge should be at the top of the headband so that the netting will cover the forehead over one eye.

Cut 1-inch-wide white ribbon to the same length as the headband. Use a hot glue gun to glue the ribbon onto the headband so that it is positioned to the side of the headband.

Glue one 6mm pearl on the headband in the middle of the spot where the netting is. Place the pearl in the middle of the width of the headband.

Glue 3 1/2-inch-long oval rhinestones on each side of the pearl to simulate leaves going up and down the headband. Glue 3 5mm pearls on the other side of the pearls, close to the edge of the headband.

Glue 5mm and 6 mm pearls, along with small rhinestones, along the length of the headband. Glue the pearls and rhinestones along the headband in the area where the netting is.

Glue a double row metal mesh diamond wrap onto the headband. Start at the area where the netting ends at the top of the head and glue the mesh diamond wrap to the end of the headband.
