How to Make a Silver Choke Collar Necklace
A silver choke collar necklace is an elegant fashion accessory that can be worn alone or with layers of draped necklaces. The key to making a choke collar style is using the proper gauge of wire. The thickness of jewelry wire is measured by a gauge number. Choose 16 or 18 gauge jewelry wire to make the choker necklace. Neckwire, as it is often called, is available in a variety of colors and textures at craft stores and online. Select an assortment of drop pendants and beads to wear on the wire to match your attire.
