Clutch Purse

Clutch purses were popular first in the 1800s. They fell out of fashion until World War II strained resources through the entire United States. Their popularity is increasing again. There are times when it isn't practical or desirable to carry a large purse. Sometimes a small purse that holds the necessities, including money, keys, cell phone, and lipstick, is all that's needed. They are most commonly used for an evening out or a quick errand.
