How to Release an Electrical Connector on a 4L60E Transmission on a '97 Jimmy

The 1997 Jimmy is an SUV manufactured by the General Motors Corporation. The transmission used on the automatic Jimmy is the GM 4L60E, which includes four forward gears and has been used in various GMC vehicles since 1992. For the 4L60E to function properly, its electrical connector must be wired to the Jimmy. If you want to remove the transmission to repair or replace it, you will need to release its electrical connector. This can be done fairly quickly, although you will need to raise the Jimmy to access the 4L60E.
