How to Make an Ornament Wreath to Hang on a Christmas Tree With a Picture in It
A Christmas ornament showing off a family photo is a charming way to bring a bit of personality to your holiday tree. You can make an ornament shaped like a wreath by using a cinnamon and applesauce clay. The clay, while made from food products, is an inedible substance that dries to make an ornament that can be saved for years to come. Then add the photo behind the ornament so it shows through the center of the wreath. You can keep these homemade ornaments for yourself, or make to give to a relative or friends as a gift.

3
Make a hole at the top of the ornament by poking it with a drinking straw. Let the ornament dry about 24 hours.

Paint the wreath ornament using a green acrylic paint and a foam paint brush to apply. Let dry on a sheet of newspaper.

5
Cut a photo so it is about the size of the ornament. Glue the edges of the photo to the backside of the ornament, so it shows through the wreath on the other side.
-
6
String a ribbon through the hole at the top of the ornament, so you can hang it from a tree.
