How to Make Bling Text With Paint Shop Pro
When you are making text for a website or a print ad, make it stand out to the viewer. One way to do this for certain images is to give the text bling. Giving it a shiny metallic appearance will work well for ads for jewelers or similar businesses. Corel Paint Shop Pro is a widely used professional-level raster graphics application that can be used to create these effects.

Load a metallic texture image on your computer. This should be anJPEG image of some flat metal surface, such as steel or brass.

Start the Paint Shop Pro application. Click “File” in the menu at the top and click “Open.” In the dialog, go to and open the texture image you loaded.

Go to the “Layers” panel and right-click the texture layer. Select “New Raster Layer.” Go to the “Materials” panel and set the “Foreground” and “Background” colors to black.

Select the “Raster 1” layer. Select the “Text” tool and select the font you want. Type in some text. Right-click on the text layer in the “Layers” panel and choose “Convert to Raster Layer.”

Select the “Selection” tool from the toolbar. Left-click inside the text to select it. Select the texture layer.

Select “Edit” from the menu and choose “Copy.” Right-click on the text in the “Layers” panel and choose “New Raster Layer.”

Select “Edit” from the menu and choose “Paste.” Go to the “Layers” panel and click next to the text layer and the image layer to hide them. You now have metallic bling text. Save your work.
