How to Make a Capri Sun Coin Purse Without Sewing
A Capri Sun is a flavored juice in a soft foil pouch. As anyone with young children can tell you, it is possible to amass an extremely large number of these pouches in a relatively small amount of time. One of the popular crafts with the do-it-yourself crowd is to recycle Capri Sun pouches into purses and wallets.
Things You'll Need

Instructions

1
Fold the Capri Sun drink pouch in half with the front of the pouch facing up.
-
2
Open the fold and cut along the top seam of the pouch just above the small hole for the straw.
-
-
3
Open the pouch and rinse with hot water to remove any juice residue. Dry the inside with a towel.
-
4
Cut the pouch along the side seams, from the top of the pouch to the crease made when folded in half. Cut along the crease to remove that piece.
-
5
Apply one side of a hook and loop dot to the inside of the pouch over the hole for the straw. Apply a few dots of super glue to the back of the hook-and-loop dot to hold securely.
-
6
Fold the pouch in half again and make a mark where the other side of the hook and loop dot should go.
-
7
Apply a few dots of super glue to the hook-and-loop dot and secure at the mark.
-
8
Open the pouch and spread the bottom to fill with change. Fold the pouch to secure with the hook and loop tape.
