Instructions

      Slide the end of a galvanized pipe into the lip of the metal socket.

      Fillet weld the pipe to the socket by heating the solder with a soldering iron and applying a thin layer of solder around the lip of the socket against the galvanized pipe.

      Allow the solder to cool down for about 15 minutes and verify that the socket weld is secure by pulling carefully on the pipe.
