1
Measure your chopsticks and choose a square length of origami paper, which is as long as your chopsticks, from your local crafts store.
-
2
Place the paper color-side down on a work space and fold in half horizontally to create a crease. Unfold the paper.
-
-
3
Fold the top and bottom edges to the center crease. Unfold the paper once again. You should now have three creases in the paper and four evenly spaced rectangular sections in the paper.
-
4
Fold the bottom-right corner up so that it meets with the center crease.
-
5
Fold the top-right corner down to meet the top crease in the paper.
-
6
Now fold the top quarter space down so that it touches the center crease where the bottom right corner was folded up.
-
7
Fold the top over itself once again and you will be left with two areas. The bottom area will be slightly shorter than the top because the corner will be folded up.
-
8
Fold the bottom edge over to meet the top edge. The wrapper now is formed with the colored sides of the paper.
-
9
Fold a half-inch on the left side of the wrapper to seal the wrapper. Use hobby glue or double-sided tape to attach the fold to the wrapper.
-
10
Insert your chopsticks in the remaining fold in the wrapper.
