1. Take the wedding dress to a professional dry cleaning service. The organization will be able to correctly clean and press the wedding gown without causing any damage to the material. Avoid attempting to do so on your own because you may cause irreversible damage to the gown.

2. Purchase a frame for the wedding dress from a photography or arts and crafts store. The size of the frame will vary depending upon the size of the wedding dress. You can also take the dress to a professional framing service and they will build a custom frame that will hold your entire dress to your exact specifications.

3. Purchase a picture frame hanging kit from home improvement stores. The kit will come with supplies such as nails and screws to properly secure the frame to the wall.

4. Select a place in the house to hang the wedding gown. If you have a room designated in the house to such memories, the gown can hang in that area along with other items from the wedding. Mark the location using a marker to ensure the gown is hung in the correct position.

5. Use the nails, screws and framing pieces from the framing kit to hang the wedding dress on the wall. Ensure that the dress is secure and will not fall due to stress. Make sure that the frame is positioned correctly on the wall and not leaning toward either direction.
