Nook Instructions on How to Share

Share your Nook books with your friends.

Some books purchased for the Barnes & Noble Nook can be shared through the device's "Lend Me" feature. You can share books with other Nook owners or anyone who has the Nook application on a smartphone, computer or tablet. Any book with a "Lend Me" badge on its cover can be shared. Once your friend accepts the book, you will not have access to it for 14 days. Also, you can only lend each book one time.

Instructions

1. Locate the book you want to share in your Nook Library. If the book doesn't have a "Lend Me" badge, you cannot share it.

2. Touch and hold the book cover. A pop-up menu opens.

3. Tap the "Lend Me" menu option. Another pop-up appears asking if you want to contact your friend through the Contact list on your Nook or through Facebook, if you've linked your Nook account to your Facebook account.

4. Select "Contacts" and select the contact from the list that appears. Compose a message in the message field and tap "Send." If you want to contact your friend through Facebook, select "Facebook." Tap a friend on your friends’ list and compose a message that will appear on his Facebook wall. Tap "Post."
