How to Get Rid of the Flashing Letter in Mailbox
A flashing letter in a mailbox is indicative of a new email or voicemail message. The recipient must read or listen to a new message to resolve the flashing indicator icon. PC users must click on the flashing mailbox to review new messages; cell phone users can tap their touchscreens or retrieve voicemail to switch off the flashing indicator icon.

Click on the flashing letter, which indicates a new message in your mailbox.

Read the new message; you will no longer observe a flashing letter in the mailbox.

Click "Delete" to delete the message from your mailbox if you don't want to keep it.
Voicemail

Dial the appropriate number to access voicemail from your cell phone. Enter your password or code to access voicemail messages.

Press the number, as indicated by the computerized voice messaging system, to listen to new messages.
