How to Make a Mask With Cucumbers

Things You'll Need
- Blender
- Electric mixer
- Kitchen knife
- Peeler
- Cucumber
- Aloe vera gel
- Aloe vera juice
- Mixing bowl
- Essential oil
- Toothpick

Remove the skin from your cucumber with a kitchen knife or peeler. Use your fingers, a kitchen knife or a toothpick to remove any seeds.

Cut up the freshly peeled cucumber with a kitchen knife. Combine a handful of cucumber slices with two tablespoons of aloe vera juice and two tablespoons of aloe vera gel into a large bowl. If you're interested in adding a fresh scent to your facial mask, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the mixture.

Pour the contents of the bowl into a blender. Blend the ingredients until a paste has formed. If you don't have a blender on hand, you can use an electric mixer in its place.

Spread your newly formed mask over your face and neck with a cotton swab or facial mask brush. This mask should be allowed to sit for 15 to 40 minutes, after which you will need to rinse it off using lukewarm water. Follow up by applying a light facial moisturizer.

Since aloe vera gel is an eye irritant, try to keep this facial mask out of your eyes. Placing cucumber slices over your eyes is an effective way to do this.
