How to Get Rid of Unread Messages on UberTwitter?

UberTwitter is part of the UberSocial collection of BlackBerry apps.

UberTwitter is a Twitter application available for BlackBerry smartphones from the BlackBerry App World. The application lets you perform all of the tasks associated with Twitter, including sending tweets, replying to tweets and sending and reading direct messages. Like any messaging service, the way to get rid of an unread message in UberTwitter is by reading the message. The menu options for a reading a direct message, however, can be a bit confusing and require a bit of clarification.

Instructions

1. Highlight and select the "UberTwitter" application icon on the BlackBerry device's application screen to launch the application.

2. Press the "BlackBerry Menu" button on the device to bring up the application's menu.

3. Highlight the "Direct Msgs To You" option and select it. Don't select the "Direct Message" option.

4. Highlight the unread direct message that you want to read and select it. When you're finished reading the message, press the "Back" button to exit out of the message. Once read, the direct message will no longer appear as unread.
