How to Recover a Letter on Facebook

Recover Facebook messages using the menu options.

One of the many features included in Facebook's social network is the ability to send messages between yourself and others on Facebook. These messages can be sent to one or more users. Periodically, you may erase a message from the inbox. However, the messages are not permanently deleted. They are archived and remain in the conversation history between you and other users. Recover messages by forwarding them or moving them to a different folder.

Instructions

1. Click the "Messages" icon at the top of your Facebook homepage. The icon is located in between the "Friend Requests" and "Notifications" icons.

2. Click "See All Messages," located at the bottom of the "Messages" drop-down menu. Scroll down to find the message that you want to recover. Alternatively, click on any message that was sent from you to a specific recipient.

3. Click "Actions" and select an option. Click "Forward" to send the message to another Facebook user or email address. Click "Other" to move them message from the "Inbox" to the "Other" message box.
