Jump down from your hot air balloon, which takes you from island to island, onto Cryptids Island and walk all the way to the right. Jump onto the bench, then up into the tree to retrieve five dollars.

Walk to the left until your reach the General Store and buy a sports drink from the shopkeeper.

Give the drink to the man working outside the store. He will give you his garden shears to hold while he takes a break.

Approach the hedges outside of Mews' mansion, open your inventory and press the "Use" option for your garden shears. Your avatar will cut the hedges, allowing you to pass into the property's grounds.
