How to Clean Antique Stoneware

Things You'll Need
- Mild liquid dish-washing detergent
- Bucket
- Soft cloths
- Cotton balls
- Distilled water

Add 1 or 2 tablespoons of mild dish-washing liquid detergent and 1 gallon of warm water in a bucket.

Dip a soft cloth into the cleaning solution and wring it out.

Wipe the stoneware with the cloth to remove any residue or dirt. For small spots, use a cotton ball dipped in the cleaning solution. Rinse the cloth in the cleaning solution as needed. Don't saturate the stoneware with water.

Dampen a cloth or cotton balls with clean distilled water and wipe the stoneware to remove any cleaning residue.
