How to Make a Friendship Bracelet With Two Pieces of Yarn
Making a bracelet out of two pieces of yarn is a creative way to mark the meaning of friendship. Employ a friendship bracelet craft activity as a weekend or after school activity for a group of young children. Sliding pony beads onto the yarn strands gives the bracelet any shade of color you wish. Ask children to make the jewelry in the spirit of each other and to use beads matching the favorite colors of each individual child when making bracelets.

1
Measure the circumference of the child's wrist. Add four inches to the initial size to ensure the bracelet slides on and off without hassle.
-
2
Cut two strands of yarn to the adjusted measurement from the previous step. Twist the yarn strands together to form a tight and narrow spiral. Place the yarn spiral onto a table one of the short ends is facing you.

3
Tape 1-inch of the short spiral ends to the far side of the table. Slide pony beads onto the yarn spiral until only 1-inch of yarn remains exposed at the near end.
-
4
Remove the tape. Tie the 1-inch exposed ends of yarn together in a double knot to complete the friendship bracelet.
