How to Crochet a Cowl Scarf for Men

Things You'll Need

• Bulky, heavy-weight yarn, 2 skeins, 6 oz. each
• Size P crochet hook
• Darning needle
• Scissors

Instructions

1. Attach yarn to the crochet hook with a slip knot. Make 37 chain stitches, being careful not to twist the chain. Join with a slip stitch in the first chain.

2. Turn the piece and make one chain stitch. Single crochet in each of the chain stitches. Join with a slip stitch at the end of the round.

3. Turn and make three chain stitches. Make a double crochet stitch in each of the single crochet stitches. Slip stitch to join the round.

4. Turn and make one chain stitch. Make a single crochet stitch in each of the double crochet stitches. Slip stitch to join the round.
