Use cupcakes as a bridal shower centerpiece.

A bridal shower is the perfect time to show a bride-to-be how happy you are for the step she is about to take in her life. When you are planning a bridal shower for a good friend or a close family member, make sure that all of the elements coordinate together. Rather than simply using vases of flowers for your centerpieces, choose something that goes with the theme of the shower or something that the bride likely has not seen before.

Instructions

    • 1

Fill large glass jars or vases with oranges, apples, limes or lemons, depending on the color scheme of your bridal shower. Fill a couple of jars with dried pasta, such as penne or tri-color rotini. Choose jars or vases that are different shapes and sizes and place them at the center of your tables in an attractive collection. This centerpiece is an especially good option for a kitchen-theme shower.

Place a piece of floral foam in the bottom of an opaque vase. Choose large round suckers in the colors you are using for the other bridal shower decorations. Place the sucker sticks inside the vase and down into the floral foam. Arrange them as you would flowers for a whimsical take on a floral centerpiece.

Purchase cupcakes decorated in your bridal shower colors or topped with a bridal-themed decoration, such as an edible engagement ring. Place the cupcakes onto a tiered cupcake tower. Put a cupcake tower on the center of each table, ensuring that you have enough cupcakes on each tower for each of the guests who will be sitting at the table.
