How to Make a Fake Bridesmaid Bouquet
Fake flowers, also known as silk flowers, can help you create a bridesmaid bouquet that will last much longer than one made with fresh flowers. The bridesmaid bouquet is similar to the bridal bouquet except that it should be smaller and more simplified. Rather than duplicating the bridal bouquet, you will make your bridesmaid bouquet with just some of the main wedding flowers and other decorative accents.

1
Choose silk flowers and decorative accents you would like to use which can be purchased from your local craft store. The bouquet should implement some of the wedding flowers included in the bridal bouquet, but not replicate it. Use flowers and accents that complement each other in a subtle way.

2
Prepare the silk flowers by removing labels, stickers and any greenery you don't want in the bouquet such as leaves or thorns. Trim the stems to your desired length.

3
Assemble the bouquet by adding one flower at a time, starting with the biggest flowers first and gradually working your way to the small flower buds and accents. When you are satisfied with the size and shape of the bouquet, wrap floral tape around the top few inches of the stems, directly underneath the flowers. Tie a ribbon around the stems of the bouquet.
