How to Make a Straw Hat to Look Like a Bunny

Create a cute and fun hat for the spring season, primarily Easter, with a small straw hat and basic craft supplies found at any craft store. You can transform a simple, inexpensive straw hat into a lovable bunny rabbit to be displayed during spring which will enjoyed by your entire family. The bunny hat also makes great gifts to give out to friends and loved ones.

Things You'll Need

• Straw hat
• Craft foam
• Scissors
• Small pink pom-pom
• Medium white pom-poms
• Craft glue
• Pipe cleaners

Instructions

1. Cut out bunny-ear shapes from the pink foam and white foam, making the white ears about 1/3 the size of the pink ears. Cut two round circles from the white foam and two smaller circles from the black foam for the bunny's eyes. Glue each white foam ear on top of a pink foam ear and glue each black foam circle to the top of a white foam circle.

2. Place the straw hat on a flat surface and glue the ears to either side of the top brim. Glue the small pink pom-pom to the middle of the hat, and the two white medium pom-poms directly underneath it. Glue the eyes a few inches above the pink pom-pom nose.

3. Cut three white pipe cleaners in half. Glue three pieces to the outer edge of one white pom-pom and repeat for the other side.
