Instructions

    • 1

Wash approximately 50 small and medium pinecones in warm, soapy water. Rinse the cones with water and allow them to thoroughly air dry.

    • 2

Cut a 10-by-10-inch piece of cardboard into a circular shape using a craft knife. Cut a 5-inch circle out of the center to create a ring.

    • 3

Place a dab of hot glue on the bottom of a pinecone and press it onto the cardboard ring. Continue gluing the cones to the cardboard, working in rows. Begin in the center of the ring and work your way out, alternating the small and medium pinecones for a varied look.

    • 4

Place the pinecone ring in the center of the table. Fill a clear glass vase with a bouquet of holiday-inspired flowers, such as orange and yellow daisies for Thanksgiving or red poinsettias for Christmas, and place it in the middle of the pinecone ring. Set a colorful pillar candle in a clear glass holder in the center of the ring as another option.

Tips & Warnings

  • To add a little more color to your centerpiece, you can attach ribbons in and around the pinecones.
