How to Activate the Azure Flute in "Pokemon Diamond"
"Pokemon Diamond," released in 2007 for the Nintendo DS, was the first "Pokemon" video game that was capable of using the wireless antenna found in every DS handheld. Nintendo made use of this fact by holding Mystery Gift Events, which allowed players to download special content via Wi-Fi. One of these events gave players the opportunity to receive the Azure Flute. People who have obtained this item can use it to summon a very powerful, legendary Pokemon called Arceus.

Travel to Mt. Cornet, which lies between Eterna and Celestic City. Make your way to the top of the mountain, where you will find the entrance to Spear Pillar.

Walk up to the large symbol that sits on the ground between the pillars. You may have fought the legendary Pokemon, Dialga, at this location earlier in the game.

Open your inventory and find the Azure Flute in your Key Items pocket. Select it and choose "Use." You will then play the flute and a staircase will appear, giving you access to the legendary Pokemon, Arceus.

Tips & Warnings
At level 80, Arceus is one of the highest-level, wild Pokemon in the game. If you attempt to capture it, be prepared for a tough fight.
