How to Stream Live With UTorrent

UTorrent is available on both Mac and Windows-based systems.

The uTorrent application is a BitTorrent client that lets users download torrents created by other users. If you want to make sure that the torrent you are downloading contains the file it claims to contain, you can stream the content while the file is still downloading by using the "Stream" feature added in uTorrent 3.0. To use this uTorrent feature, you must enable it from the applications "Preferences" menu.

Instructions

1. Double-click the "uTorrent" icon to launch the application.

2. Click the "Options" menu and select the "Preferences" option. If you are using a Mac computer, click the "File" menu and select the "Preferences" option.

3. Click the "Streaming" heading in the "Preferences" menu and select the player you want to use for streaming from the drop-down menu.

4. Drag the torrent file that you want to stream onto the uTorrent application window to add the torrent to the application.

5. Click the "Stream" button to stream the torrent's contents while the torrent is downloading.

Tips & Warnings

• Only use uTorrent to download non-copyrighted material.
