Instructions

    • 1

Brush the mud with a stiff nylon bristled brush until it flakes off your carpeting. A stiff brush removes mud without re-wetting it and turning it back into a messy puddle.

    • 2

Brush the loose mud up into a dust pan and dispose of the mud. If the stain is on carpeting, pre-treat the area by spraying it with a liquid stain remover.

    • 3

Mix 1 tsp. of dish liquid with a cup of cold water and apply it to the stain with a washcloth. Daub the stain with the mixture until the liquid and the stain disappear.

    • 4

Clean the dish liquid mixture off the floor with clean water and a fresh wash cloth.

Tips & Warnings

  • It is easier to remove mud from hard flooring surfaces than it is to clean it off carpet. If you have hard flooring, such as tiles or laminate flooring, you can simply brush the majority of the mud away and then mop the floor as usual.
