DIY Double Finger Ring
A double finger rings has a top that stretches over two fingers, joining two ring bands together underneath. Though many stores sell these bold rings, they are much cheaper to make by hand. Creating custom two-finger rings also ensures that the wearer has a ring that reflects her personal style .
Things You'll Need
- Ring mandrel or dowel the size of your finger
- 18-gauge wire
- Needle nose pliers
- Wire cutters
- Epoxy that bonds metal
- Gems, old jewelry pieces, charms or pendants

Wrap wire around the ring mandrel or dowel the size of your finger. Wrap it at least two times, or until it's your desired thickness.

Pull the band off the mandrel or dowel and carefully wrap the wire ends around the band. Trim the ends so they don't poke out.

Wrap an identical band around the mandrel or dowel and repeat Step 2.

Hold the ring bases together so one side touches the other. Wrap a short piece of wire around the place where the two bands touch until they are securely attached to each other. Trim the ends of the wire.

Glue the embellishments to the tops of the two bands with an epoxy that works on metal and whatever material your ring top is made of.

Tips & Warnings
Use old or broken earrings, pendants and charms as ring toppers.
Work in a well-ventilated area when using epoxy.
