How to Use a Multi Purpose VGA Box
Install a multi-purpose VGA box so you can connect a variety of audio visual equipment to your VGA enabled monitor. The VGA or visual graphics array interface is commonly employed by computer monitors to display the image from a desktop or other computer. The multi-purpose box allows you to run the video from your composite or component enabled devices to your VGA monitor.

Connect the VGA cable to the "VGA OUT" port on your monitor or display. Fasten the screws on the end of the cable to secure the connection.

Insert the other end of the cable to the "VGA" port on the multi-purpose VGA box. Secure the screws to keep the cable connected.

Connect one end of the composite cables into the "Video + Audio OUT" ports on your DVD, cable box or game console. Insert the other end into the "Video + Audio IN" jacks on the multi-purpose VGA box.

Plug the power adapter from the VGA box into a nearby power outlet to begin transforming the signal to your VGA monitor.
