How to Make a Prosperity Jar
If you need to save money for something in particular, consider starting a prosperity jar. This jar is used similar to a savings account at a bank. Put money in it toward one of your financial goals such as a certain amount to go into your 401K or IRA, or maybe for something fun, like a cruise. Whatever you are putting money aside for, the prosperity jar acts as a tool to get you to that goal.
