The distinctive shape of martini glasses adds a twist to traditional centerpieces.

Oversize martini glasses are not just for giant cocktails. Transform this everyday art piece into a centerpiece for a quirky table display that will make guests look twice. Arranging the glasses to look like they are filled with martinis is expected, but instead of a drink, your centerpiece glasses will contain unexpected fillings such as ornament balls, flowers and candy.

Things You'll Need

  • Floral wreath
  • 1 oversize martini glass
  • 2 regular martini glasses
  • Fresh lotus blossom or other large flower blossom
  • Small Christmas ornament balls to match flower color, hooks removed
  • Jelly beans, one color to match flower color

Instructions

    • 1

Place a floral wreath flat in the middle of the table where you want the centerpiece.

    • 2

Set the oversize martini glass in the center of the wreath with the two regular martini glasses on either side of the larger one in the wreath's hole.

    • 3

Fill the largest glass halfway with water and float a large flower blossom on the surface of the water.

    • 4

Put small Christmas ornament balls in one of the two regular-size glasses to the top of the glass. Use balls the same color as the flower in the large glass.

    • 5

Fill the remaining glass to the brim with jelly beans or other colorful candies in a color that matches the flower bloom.
