Instructions

    • 1

Put the curtain panels you want to hang on the patio door onto a curtain rod long enough to extend beyond each side of the patio door. Hold the curtain rod up over the patio door until the bottoms of the curtain panels touch the floor.

    • 2

Hold a bracket for the curtain rod up against the wall at one side of the patio door, under one end of the curtain rod, while the curtain rod is in the proper position for the curtains to touch the floor. Put the curtain rod and curtains down and mark the position of the top hold on the bracket.

    • 3

Place a screw through the top screw hole of the bracket and attach it to the wall using the screws that came with the curtain rod. Don’t fully tighten the top screw, and leave the bottom screw hole empty.

    • 4

Place the end of the curtain rod into the bracket and hold the other bracket on the other end of the curtain rod. Lift the end of the curtain rod not yet attached to the wall up and put a magnetic level on the end of the curtain rod. When the magnetic level shows the curtain rod sits even, hold the bracket against the wall and mark the top screw hole.

    • 5

Put the curtain rod and curtain panels down and attach the second bracket to the wall through the top screw hole. Once the bracket is in place, set the curtain rod into the brackets and shift the bottom of the brackets as needed so the rod sits correctly in the brackets. Tighten the top screws in both brackets and add the bottom screw to secure the brackets.
