How to Bypass Commercials on TV

Nearly 10 minutes of a 30-minute television show are commercials. If you want to skip commercials to get back to your show, use a digital video recorder, referred to as a DVR, to record shows to a hard drive. When you play the show from the hard drive, you can fast forward through the commercials.
