DIY: Paper Wine Glass Tags
Wine tags and charms are useful at parties so guests can remember which glass is theirs. If they are made out of paper, guests can write their own names on the tags. Not only does this help you keep track of your glass, a surreptitious glance at someone else’s glass can remind you of a name you’ve forgotten. At wine tasting parties, the paper tag can also be used to label each glass with the type of wine. If you make your own paper wine tags you can ensure that the color or pattern on the paper matches your party’s color scheme or theme. They are easy enough to make that you can make a new batch for every party. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Draw a circle on the card stock. The circle should be large enough to write on, but smaller than the base of the wine glass. Cut the circle out.
-
2
Punch a hole in the middle of the circle. A standard hole punch is large enough to fit around the stem of most wine glasses.
-
-
3
Cut from the edge of the circle to the punched hole so the tag can be slipped onto the wine glass stem.

Tips & Warnings
Use paint chips or patterned paper for your card stock for a colorful, funky touch.
Instead of punching a hole in the middle of the circle, punch it on the edge, insert a ribbon, and tie the tag to the stem of the glass.
Add visual interest by using pinking shears to cut out the circle.
