How to Make Craft Show Displays Out of Old Louver Doors
Showcase your crafts on a stand up display created from attaching two louvered doors to make a folding panel display. The slats of a louvered door make it possible to hang small craft items by using hooks, fishing lines and hangers. The doors can be set up at the front of your space or behind the table as a way to display items that are folded on the table. This folding display is portable and can be easily carried and set up at flea markets and craft fairs.

1
Paint the louvered doors a solid color. White and ivory paint give door a fresh look and make a good background for darker colored craft items. Black paint allows brightly colored shirts, scarves and jewelry to stand out.
-
2
Attach the two louvered doors together using three hinges. Screw one hinge in the middle of the two doors. Place another hinge three inches from the top, and a third one three inches from the bottom.

Measure the length of the louvered slats and cut a piece of fishing line that equals three times the measurement. Tie fishing line loosely through the slats in the doors, leaving enough slack to fit a hanger through it. Hangers can be used to display clothing and fabric items.

Attach bracelets and necklaces to the bottom end of an ornament hook and hang on the louvered doors. The hooks can also be placed through the fishing line attached to the slats. Earring and ring cards will fit right into the slats of the door for display.
