Instructions

    • 1

Cover the table with a white or ivory pressed tablecloth. Fill crystal platters, bowls and vases with fruit.

    • 2

Arrange fruit in serving dishes based on the type. For example, keep citrus fruits together, and place berries on the same platter.

    • 3

Add some decorated fake fruit, such as apples, pears and oranges, to the table. Spray the fake fruit white or ivory, then cover it in glue and glitter. Add ribbons to the fruit and place it in a large crystal bowl, several smaller bowls or a hurricane vase.

    • 4

Fill in the blank space on the table with flowers. You can use real or fake flowers; if desired, cover the table with rose petals.

    • 5

Wrap and drape tulle around the edges of the table. If desired, add a string of lights inside the tulle.

    • 6

Set a few unscented candles in crystal holders around the table to add a warm glow.

    • 7

Place labels out on the table identifying each type of fruit. You can either print these out on cardstock and fold them in half, or create hand-written labels.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not use scented candles on the fruit table, because the scent may interfere with the natural smell of the fruit.
