How to Fold Towels to Save Room
Whether you're storing towels in a closet with limited space or you're displaying towels on wall shelves in a bathroom, instead of folding them in a traditional square fold, roll them to maximize the limited space. Lay a towel on a flat surface; the towel should be opened up to its full size. Run your hand over the surface of the towel to smooth out any wrinkles.

Fold the towel in half lengthwise. Fold the towel in half again, lengthwise, creating a long thin rectangle.

Roll one of the short ends of the towel inward, toward the rest of the towel. Roll the towel forward, keeping it fairly taught, until it is formed into a cylinder.

Place the rolled towels on a self and stack them on top of one another. If you're displaying the towels on an open shelf, stack them in a pattern of alternating colors to add visual interest to the display.
