Press the left-soft key Menu button, select "Settings" and then select "Security."

Enter the four-digit password. The default lock code is the last four-digits of your phone number.

Select "Lock Now" or "On Power Up" to enable the security feature. Press "OK" to save the changes. When you turn off your phone, it will automatically lock.

Press the left-soft key Menu button, select "Settings" and then select "Security" if you want to change the default lock code.

Enter the default password, then select "Change Lock Code." Enter the default lock password again to launch the "Create your new lock code" screen.
