You can add text inside a speech bubble in Photoshop.

When you are working on a graphics project with Adobe Photoshop CS5 on your computer, you might determine that you want to make it look like a person is saying something, by using a voice or speech bubble. You can add speech bubble in a layer above the layer containing the picture of a person’s head, making the image look like a comic book or comic strip depicting a person speaking.

      Launch Photoshop CS5 on your computer. Click “File,” and click “Open,” then navigate to the Photoshop project file on your computer to which you want to add a speech bubble.

      Click “Layer,” then click “New” and click “Layer” to make a layer to hold the speech bubble.

      Click and hold the “Shape Tool” icon on the toolbar, then click “Custom Shape Tool.” Click the “Shape” pull-down menu at the top of the Photoshop application window, then click the small right triangle at the upper right corner of the menu and click “Talk Bubbles.” A dialog box appears. Click “Append” to add the cartoon talk bubble shapes to the menu.

      Click the small image of the speech bubble style you want to use. Click the “Color” box on the toolbar, then click the color you want to use for your speech bubble, such as white.

      Move the cursor to the location on the image where you want to make the speech bubble, then click and drag the cursor to draw the bubble. Release the mouse when you are satisfied with the size and shape of the speech bubble.

      Click the “Text” tool in the toolbar, marked with a “T” icon. Click on the speech bubble to automatically create a new layer for text, then type the words you want to make the person say.
