How to Run Compass in Terminal

Screen Compass is a program for the Mac OS X operating system that allows users to measure objects on the screen. This is primarily used with CAD and other engineering software applications. If you would like to boot Compass from your Terminal program, you can do it with just a few keystrokes. You don’t have to be a computer genius to run the Compass through your Terminal. You can do it yourself with little hassle.

      Click the “Applications” icon from your desktop.

      Click on the “Terminal” icon from the list of programs in your Applications folder.

      Type “open /Applications/Compass.app” and press the “Enter” button.

      Wait for Compass to open.
