How to Remove Scuff on Leather Watch Strap
Leather is so popular that it is used in furniture, clothing, shoes and even accessories, such as watch straps. It will last for many years with the proper care. However, certain things may be unavoidable such as a scuff on your leather from bumping into something. If your watch strap has a scuff, don't worry. Remove moisture and dust from the watch strap. Place the watch on a flat surface. Rub a clean cloth over the front of the watch strap in one direction. Turn the watch over and rub the cloth over the back of the watch strap.

Remove dried dirt from the watch strap. Dampen a cloth with cool water. Place a drop of moisturizing soap on the cloth and rub in one direction from one side of the strap to the other. Turn the watch over and rub the back. Rinse the cloth under cool water and wring it out. Run it over the watch in one direction to remove soap residue.

Dry the watch strap. Simply run a clean cloth over the watch strap in one direction.

Cover the scuff with a shoe polish that matches the color of the watch strap. Apply a drop of polish onto a clean cloth and rub the polish into the scuffed area. Continue rubbing until the polish is absorbed. Allow the polish to dry. Always follow the directions on the label of shoe polish for the proper application.

Apply a leather lotion to the watch strap. Pour a drop of lotion onto a clean cloth and rub it into the front of the watch strap in a circular motion. Start at one side of the strap and continue rubbing in circular motions until you reach the other side. Rub down the length of the watch again until the lotion is completely absorbed. Add another drop and rub the back of the watch strap.

Tips & Warnings
Wring out the wet cloth thoroughly so that it does not drip. Never get water on the watch face because this could damage it.
