Instructions

    • 1

Wrap a tailor’s measuring tape around your neck where you plan to wear the choker. Have a friend read the measurement where the end of the measuring tape overlaps.

    • 2

Add two inches to the length of the measurement and then transfer that measurement to the ribbon.

    • 3

Cut the ribbon to the measured length with a pair of sharp scissors.

    • 4

Cut a piece of hook-and-loop fastener to a 1-inch length with the scissors. Separate the hook and the loop from each other.

    • 5

Glue the hook side of the Velcro to one end of the ribbon with fabric glue and then glue the loop side of the Velcro to the other end of the ribbon and on the reverse side. Allow 24 hours for drying time.

    • 6

Place the ribbon around your neck and then fasten the hook-and-loop closure so that the choker rests against the back of your neck.
