How to Make Shiny Metallic Textures in CS3

How to Make Shiny Metallic Textures in CS3 thumbnail
Use a metallic texture to polish dull motorcycles in an image.

Textures are backgrounds you apply to objects within an image. They add diversity to images, buttons and text, bringing them to life. Photoshop CS3 allows you to use existing textures or to create your own. Metallic textures are shiny and often black or gray. You can use them for 3D metal structures, such as motorcycles or license plates. In Photoshop CS3, noise effect adds random pixels, motion blur adds movement and lighting effects polish the image.
