How to Make a Bulb for Your Christmas Tree With Your Pictures
Many decorated Christmas trees are fairly generic, with nothing to make them different from the one in the house door next. One way to add personality to your tree is to add photos of your family and friends to ornaments that can be hung on your tree. There are a couple of ways that you can add photos or other pictures to an ornament bulb.

Choose a photo that you want added to a Christmas ornament. Load the photo onto your computer, either by transferring it from a digital camera or by scanning it. Also, locate clip art online and download it to your computer.

Start Microsoft Paint. Select “File” from the menu and choose “open.' In the dialog, browse to and open the photo.

Use the “Paste From” function under “Edit” to add graphics to the border or corners of your picture.

Save the image using the resolution and size requirements of a site that specializes in printing these images on Christmas bulb ornaments. There are several to choose from, such as Zazzle, CafePress or Picture Ornaments. Alternatively, save it to a size that will fit inside a flat ornament you have purchased at a craft shop.

Choose the style and size for the ornament to which you wish to add your photo. Upload your image to the site. You may be required to first sign up for an account before being able to complete the upload and payment process. If you are applying the image to the ornament yourself, print the image out, cut it out to fit the ornament and glue it on.
