How to Make Creative Wedding Bubbles
Wedding bubbles often take the place of birdseed or rice throwing as the bride and groom emerge from the church. Many craft or hobby stores sell ready-made, inexpensive bottles of bubbles you can decorate to match your wedding decor. Alternatively, if you don’t fancy having the liquid bubble solution drip all over you or your guests, use an automatic bubble machine. Fill the machine with your own bubble solution. The bubbles seemingly coming from nowhere make quite an impression.

Personalize Bubbles Bottles
-
1
Cut 10-inch strips of satin ribbon. Use colored ribbon to match your wedding colors to contrast with the white bottles.
-
2
Write your names on each strip of ribbon and include the date. Use a gold calligraphy pen for best results on the fabric.

3
Wrap the ribbon around the bottle just below the lid. Tie the ribbon in a small bow. Place a tiny dot of hot glue on the undersides of the ends of the ribbon. Press the ribbons down against the bottle so the bow stays flat and in place.
-
4
Place a dot of hot glue on the top of the lid. Press the daisy flower head onto the glue and hold it tight for several seconds to secure it to the lid. If you can’t find fake flower heads, obtain fake stemmed flowers and simply cut of the stem.
-
5
Set the bottles in decorative baskets with daisy flowers on them. This presentation makes them easy for guests to grab as they leave the ceremony.
Homemade Bubble Solution and Bubble Machine
-
6
Mix 1 gallon of distilled water, 2/3 cup liquid dishwashing soap and 3 tbsp. glycerin in a bucket with a long-handled spoon. Stir well, but not so vigorously as to create thick foam.
-
7
Obtain an automatic bubble blower machine. You can find these relatively inexpensively at party supply stores.
-
8
Fill the machine with your homemade bubble solution. Set up the machine just outside the church or other wedding venue doors. A bridesmaid or other family member can turn on the machine as you and your new spouse open the doors.

Tips & Warnings
Use any flowers you desire to decorate the top of the bubble bottles.
Invest in more than one bubble machine if you want to create a ton of bubbles.
You can use light corn syrup instead of glycerin if you have that on hand.
