How to Transfer Programs to an HTC Imagio Storage Card
Much as a computer does, a Windows Mobile device has a registry that tracks which files are linked to which application. When you install a program on a Windows Mobile device such as the HTC Imagio, the installation file makes changes to the phone's registry. If you try to transfer the program directly from the phone's memory into the storage card by cutting and pasting the files, the registry keys will not update and the program will not work. The only way to transfer a program is to uninstall the software and re-install it on the SD card.
