How to Decorate a Night Stand Picture

Your nightstand is likely one of the first things you see in the morning and the last thing you see at night, so setting up a decorative picture frame can brighten your bedtime view and get your morning started on a happy note. Decorate the frame with colors that will help induce sleep or wake you up in the morning. Avoid overly shiny decorations, though, or they may reflect light and disturb your sleep.

Instructions

    • 1

Draw shapes on foam craft sheets you want to incorporate on your frame. Choose colors for the foam that will either help you fall asleep (such as deep red, brown or deep blue) or help you wake up (yellows, light greens and other pastels).

    • 2

Cut the shapes out with a craft knife. Pop them out of the foam sheet.

    • 3

Place a piece of double-sided tape on the backs of the shapes. Press the foam shapes to the frame. The tape will stick the foam in place.
