Instructions

    • 1

Apply a line of hot glue over a plain, 1-inch wide headband from end-to-end on each side.

    • 2

Wrap some glitter ribbon in the color of your choice around the headband tightly, being careful not to burn your hands on the glue. Snip away excess ribbon at the end with a pair of scissors.

    • 3

Cut a separate length of glitter ribbon that measures 6 inches long. Tie the ribbon into a bow and use your fingers to fluff the loops and make sure the tails are equal in length.

    • 4

Run a threaded needle in and out of the middle of the bow to secure it. Knot the thread and cut the needle away using a pair of scissors.

    • 5

Apply a dot of hot glue on the back side of the bow and press it directly on to the headband. You can choose for the bow to rest right in the middle, or you can position it a little to either side.

    • 6

Wait for the glue to dry completely before wearing the headband.
