How to Make a Round Neck Pillow
Round neck pillows can help support the neck and lower back, depending on where the pillow is positioned. These smaller pillows can also add an attractive accent to a set of pillows. Because of their small size you can use a more expensive fabric and fancy trim to dress up the pillow, making it even more special. Making this type of pillow is not difficult and you can easily remove the cover for laundry.

1
Measure the length and diameter of your neck roll pillow form. The diameter is the distance across the circle that divides the circle in half. Add the length, plus the diameter, plus 2 inches. This is the fabric length measurement. Measure the circumference of the neck roll and add 1 inch for the width measurement. Cut out your fabric.

Fold the fabric face sides together along its length. Sew a 1/2-inch seam. Fold the end of the fabric 1 inch to the back. Sew a seam 3/4 inch from the fold. Leave a 1-inch opening between the beginning and end of the seam. Repeat for the second end.

Tie 18 inches of cording to a safety pin. Thread the safety pin through the 1-inch opening on one end of the roll. Bring the safety pin out through the same hole. Repeat with a second cord and safety pin on the second end of the fabric.

Insert the neck roll into the cover. Pull the cords tight and tie a knot and bow. Repeat for the second end. Trim off the excess cord.
