Instructions

    • 1

Draw the shape of your plushie on a piece of paper. Cut it out with a scissors to use as a pattern.

    • 2

Place the two pieces of fabric with their right sides together. Place the pattern on top of the fabric pieces and pin it in place. Cut through both pieces around the pattern.

    • 3

Remove the pins and set the pattern aside. Re-pin the two layers of fabric together.

    • 4

Stitch 1/4 inch from the edge of the material using the sewing machine. Leave a small opening on one of the plushie's sides.

    • 5

Insert your finger or a chopstick through the opening and turn the plushie right-side out. Use a chopstick to insert the stuffing of your choice.

    • 6

Fold the edges of the opening inward and stitch it closed using a needle and thread. Hand-sew details to your plushie, such as button or bead eyes, a felt nose and mouth, yarn for hair or applique designs, such as hearts or bows.
